The Capital Philharmonic Orchestra
This year marks an exciting new adventure for the South Sound area as a new orchestra and community chorus takes flight on a mission to provide outstanding, live music for the purpose of inspiring and uniting our local communities. Although Evergreen Christian Community has been hosting concerts for a number of years, the Evergreen Concert Series was officially formed only four years ago. Under the direction of Seth Winterhalter they have grown from a few concert offerings to over eight concerts per season and have expanded the chamber orchestra into a professional orchestra of over fifty-five players. This year also marks the launch of the Capital Philharmonic Chorus, which serves as a community chorus to all vocalists age 16 and up.
