Volunteer
Capital Philharmonic volunteers are a diverse group of individuals dedicated to supporting the music and mission. Volunteers are the heart beat of our concert series and are vital to the success of our community events. There are a number of ways you can volunteer, all of which come with training. Join us as we use our talents and passion for the arts to make the music possible!
Office Support
Provide essential office support and assistance to the Creative Arts staff during the workday. Organize and maintain files, assist with mailings, input computer data and help with other clerical functions. Most office assistance is needed during normal business hours, Tuesday through Friday 9am to 5pm.
Fundraising/Special Events
Volunteer at many levels: address invitations, wrap gifts for gala attendees, help with decorations and more. Fundraising volunteers are needed periodically at varying days and times.
Greeters & Ushers
Our goal is to create a warm and inviting environment for Concert Series patrons. The greeter program gives outgoing people an opportunity to interact directly with the public and make them feel welcome at concerts. Greeters generally work evening and weekend concerts, September through May. Training is provided.
Merchandise
During our concert events we have guest artists who bring their merchandise for the public to purchase. Volunteer sales associates actively promote sales, assist customers and help keep the area in order. A professional manager provides training, guidance and support on an individual basis.
